Steve founded Graham Partners in 1988 and oversees all of the activities of the firm, including investment sourcing, evaluating, monitoring and divesting. Steve currently serves on Graham Partners’ Investment Committee. His past and present board directorships include: Abrisa, Atlas-Vitron, B&B, Berry, Dynojet, Eldorado, HB&G, ICGC, Infiltrator, Line-X, Nailite, NDS, Schneller, Supreme Corq, TransAxle, The Masonry Group and Western. Steve is also a board member of various entities affiliated with The Graham Group, and is a trustee of the Graham Family Trusts. He also serves as an Advisory Board member of certain unaffiliated private equity funds managed by other general partners.
Steve founded Graham Partners in 1988, which served as the corporate finance arm of the Graham Group until the formation of Graham Partners’ first private equity fund in 1999, during which time he oversaw the Graham Group’s global acquisition, joint venture and financing activities, culminating with the sale of a controlling interest in Graham Packaging to The Blackstone Group in 1998. During this period, Steve was also a member of the Management Committee of Graham Packaging. Prior to forming Graham Partners, Steve worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, and as an Acquisition Officer for the RAF Group, a private equity investment group in the industrial sector headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Steve earned his B.A. with a double major in Philosophy and English from Williams College, where he was a three-sport varsity athlete (tennis, track and skiing) and captain of the downhill ski team, and his M.B.A. from Dartmouth College's Amos Tuck School of Business.
